Dennis Tatoian, Senior Advisor
7th dan Shin-shin Aiki-shuren-kai. Tatoian Sensei started Aikido training with Gozo Shioda Sensei in 1965. In 1969 he was transferred to Sagami-Ono where he trained with Sugawara Sensei and began going to Iwama to train with Saito Sensei, under whom he trained from 1970 - 1977. He translated Volumes Three and Four of Saito Sensei's "Traditional Aikido" texts.

Ian Noel Kennedy, Senior Instructor
5th dan Aikikai. He has trained aikido since 1977, and Tatoian Sensei has been his teacher since 1980. In 1992 he co-founded Traditional Aikido of Sonoma with Tatoian Sensei managing the dojo and leading the children's program. He has served as uchi deshi with Morihiro Saito Shihan at the Ibaraki Aikido Dojo in Iwama, Japan. Currently he is Chief Instructor for the Sonoma State University Aikido program.
Craig O'Connor, Chief Instructor
4th dan Aikikai, with a background in both Goju and Kempo Karate. He has been a student of Tatoian Sensei since 1992. Since that time, he has studied with many teachers in the US, and served as uchi deshi with Morihiro Saito Shihan at the Ibaraki Aikido Dojo in Iwama, Japan. He has also spent several years teaching Aikido to children.
Nathan Feileacan, Instructor
3rd dan Aikikai. He has been training in Aikido since 1993, studing under Tatoian Sensei, Noel Kennedy Sensei, Jay Bell Sensei, and Lynn Johnston Sensei. He has served as uchi deshi with Hitohiro Saito Shihan in Iwama, Japan. He has also spent several years teaching Aikido to teens.
Julian Shay, Instructor
3rd dan Aikikai. He has been training under Tatoian Sensei since 2002.
Instructor at Sonoma State University, where he began with Kennedy Sensei. He has served as uchi deshi with Hitohiro Saito Shihan in Iwama, Japan.
